Istanbul, Turkey Six Senses Kocatas Mansions
Sailing along the Bosphorus Straits, one can’t help but noticing the pearls of hundreds beautiful historical mansions built during the glory days of Ottoman Empire. Two of those waterfront mansions are portrayals of marvel architectures, more than 150 years old named Kocatas and Sait Pasa Mansions. Both nearly lost to fire in the end of 19th century for Sait Pasa and in 1997 for Kocatas. Buergenstock, Switzerland Palace Hotel
Traveling back to 1879, this was the year Bucher & Durer company built Palace Hotel, later became the legendary icon of Buergenstock Resort Collections in Lucerne after its revamped and relaunch in 2017. John Carr of York was appointed to design a complex of six lodging houses and two new hotels. Building work on the Crescent started in 1780 and was completed in 1789. The hotels book-ended the lodging houses with the St Ann’s Hotel in the west end of the building and the Great Hotel in the east end.
