Caribbean Sea is unanimously famous for - of course the pirates haven back when boats were the only mode to travel far and wide either be it exploration purposes or trades. Spices, coals, cotton, coffee, tea, silk, cocoa and other commodities changed hands rather challengingly for the carrier and the crew till its delivery destination.

Fast forward to 21st century, The Caribbean became hot spot for film locations, celebrities’ second homes, getaway paradise for families, group of friends and favourite destinations for special occasions - weddings, honeymoons, babymoons or any other ‘moons’…

Unlike any other Caribbean islands, Dominica is unique with its topography, landscapes, flora and fauna. Lush greeneries are more likely to greet you than pristine white beaches. Gifted with 365 rivers and 12 waterfalls, this volcanic island (mind you, it is really safe) is blessed with lush greeneries that can tower any of its peak within a year after hurricane Maria.

We had exciting times discovering the island with the Kempinski team. Hiking the nature trails to stumble upon magnificent gorges and lakes, exploring peaks of UNESCO park, historical sites of the colonials, film locations - notably known for “Pirates of the Caribbean”; were one of the most memorable experiences a crew could have.

The resort being the best luxury hospitality spot on the island is the talk of the town. Announcement of its opening attracted locals and neighbouring visitors/guests from nearby islands like honey to the bees! Congratulations to the team for a job well done and we were grateful to be the official photographer for this amazing resort.

Hope the pictures and video for this first phase are to your liking! Enjoy viewing them.

Till we meet again for the second phase … Caribbean gem.
